Currently, when a plugin creates a toolbar button, that button is automatically disabled any time the 3d viewport is hidden (say by opening a script or some other document). These buttons now have a new boolean property, ClickableWhenViewportHidden. It defaults to false. If set to true, the toolbar button will be clickable even when the 3d viewport is hidden by some other document (e.g. a scripts). | Live |
